Deep Sea 6 was established in the year 2037 as the first permanent undersea city. Its primary purpose is to be a center for marine study and education. At a depth of 253 feet, pressure domes and structures are required. The population averages approximately 3,600, mostly marine scientists, students, and their families. This includes an operating staff of approximately 540. The primary transportation to and from the city is by Delta Submarines. Deep Sea 6 is located approximately 6 miles southeast of Miami, Florida. |
