Ark II |
Mission Exodus, Seeking the Promised Land Ark II - California Condor Astronomers discovered a rouge planet on a collision course with Earth. It is too big to destroy or divert. Earth will be destroyed in just over ten years, That was five years ago. All of the nations, corporations, and other groups have joined together to build one hundred and fifty-seven Ark II class colonizing space craft. The crafts will be loaded with as many colonists as can be safely transported to a recently discovered Class M planet 22.3 light years away. There is not time for exploration, we just hope it is habitable when we get there. Various methods were used to determine who is going, some based on qualifications and some by lottery (with rumors of bribes), many will be left behind. President John Johnson, while telling the country that it is a hoax, secretly paid one billion dollars for a single reservation on The Emperor of the North, colonizing ship #158 In the Mojave Desert, Ark II class colonizing ship - California Condor is under construction.
